Here’s my thing ok, I love the Hills, I do, only because I love LC (not Lauren Conrad, “LC” as I have called her since day one of my old obsession Laguna Beach) I have watched hergrow up into this fashionista, young Hollywood princess and I love it! I do though think I get slightly dumber by the moment when I watch though.
Anyway, The City looks good ONLY because it’s set in NYC. I think that a spin off of the Hills with Whitney of all people is the probably the lamest idea ever concocted after that of the person who decided Paris Hilton should be in movies. So tonight is the big premier of their wanna-be Sex and the City, and just like I told Rachel I am not, repeat NOT going to watch it……tonight. I will stay strong in my boycott as long as I possibly can and I am relying on you to tell me if I made the right choice or not. So happy brain cell killing tonight for those who watch!

In the coming days I will be posting on some of my favorite things from this past year. Although, on a personal note my year was well, not what I hoped, my other loves, fashion and gossip were on the up-and up! So without further ado one of my favorite magazine covers of 2008 was the February Elle cover with Jessica Alba. I think it was one of her best photos ever. She looks beautiful, happy, and sweet (and her dress is rad). I also particularly am fond of this issue because in the article Alba mentions the book, The Skinny Bitch, so I of course had to have the book, The Skinny Bitch, natch. Anyway, I read it and loved it! and have eaten so much healthier and have become an almost total vegetarian because of it. If you haven’t yet read this book guys, I seriously suggest you do. (But be prepared to only want to eat vegetables and water and afterwords).

Seriously? What the hell is going on here? Whitney Port (aka my personal snooze inducer) should be somewhat fashion saavy right? I mean someone out there put the green light on her lame lovely fashion line, Whitney Eve. This reminds me of the princess crown I bought from Medieval Times on my 7th grade field trip! Move over Mischa Barton we got another fashion loony on the loose.

So Ashlee Simpson is no longer the sultry redhead that she’s been for over a year now. I personally loved the color. I wish that my skin tone allowed for me to pull off such an awesome shade, but sadly it doesn’t. I think blonde looks good on her, but well, it’s just so typical ya know. Go back to red Ash! It was one major way to be different from your stupid sister too! (if that last line didn’t work, I don’t know what will)

So Rachel Zoe’s reality show The Rachel Zoe Project has been given the go ahead for season number 2 according to the LA Times. Which I am torn about. I love Rachel Zoe and her talent, but I do not, repeat, DO NOT, love her show. I think she is uber annoying on screen with the way she talks like a stoned teenager and her limited vocabulary. Her assistant Taylor makes wants me to jump into my tv set and fix her hair for her and slap her while I’m at it. She is so mean to Brad, Zoe’s other assistant,who I think is the only entertaining aspect of the show. Whatever, the clothes are fun to look at so fine by me.

The color of this season is grey folks (if you didn’t know) Dark, light, you name it, we love it on our fingers, toes, shoes, and in cashmere around our necks! With the economy the way it is right now you might not be able to afford the latter, but you can definitely pick up my new favorite color from the dream team at O.P.I. It’s called You Don’t Know Jaques and although it appears brownish in the bottle, it will look like a darker shade of warm grey on your fingers or toes and it’s a fresh new spin on the tired black nails of last season. Here is my boyfriend, (aka Rob Pattinson) and Kristen Stewart at the UK premiere of Twilight today in London. I honestly am full blown obsessed with Rob and want to forewarn you all of the numerous, numerous, posts I will be doing about him from here on out. I think he looks great at today’s event and although I am not sure why Kristen’s hair always looks like shiz, I am still unbearably jealous of her.

Yesterday I wrote about the lovely ladies in red at the Victoria’s Secret flagship store opening and now I have to report on this nonsense of a red dress worn by Jessica Alba last night at the red carpet event for her Club Campari 2009 Calendar. (Which she looks great in btw) I am just despising this look on her. I hate her shoes, I hate her bangs, and I hate whatever it is that is making that dress pop out at the sides like that. Where is her stylist? Find that woman and black- list her!
