Here are my favorite fashionistas Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen at last nights Style Awards in London. Ashley as well all know is my fave and my fashion icon but she’s not being very iconic tonight. And Mary Kate is way too covered up for her age. Girl, show a little skin while you can, one day you will have to cover every inch of your body thanks to gravity so let’s not do it now. Sheesh.

US snowboarder Scotty Lago who won the Bronze medal in the half pipe Wednesday has apologized to the Olympic Committee and volunteered to leave Vancouver early in result to “racy” photos of him surfacing on the web. When I heard about such photos I was expecting some nude-y  pics, maybe some good ol’ self portrait in the mirror ass shots, I don’t know. But no, they are these lame pics of some chick doing, well, I don’t even know what’s going on but it looks stupid, not racy. Now the poor boy is headed home over this. Scotty, all I gotta say if you had to pack your bags over these photos you should have at least made sure you had a hot girl kneeling down, geez. Go big or go home man, well, uh, I guess you are going home. Sorry!

So people are criticizing Tiger Woods’ apology statement already and here is my response. He did NOT owe us an apology in the first place. He solely owed his wife one. This matter is not our business. Yes, what he said is true…we do all want to know “how he could have done these things to [his] wife Elin and his children”, and we don’t understand and would like to know what he was thinking, but some of us will never comprehend such foolish and selfish behavior and it’s not his job right now to enlighten us. I think it was enough that he took the time to involve his fans and the country in on his remorse, no matter how heartfelt or genuine you believe it was. At least he apologized which is more than I can say about a lot of dumbass men in this world.

The McRibTwist is back.

So congratulations to my Winter Olympic boyfriend Shaun White (not to be confused with my Summer Olympic boyfriend Michael Phelps). Shaun won Olympic Gold last night in the Halfpipe with a score of 46.8 on his first run and a 48.4 on his second run (which was initially just a victory run, since no one had beaten his first runs score) in which he ended with his signature double McTwist 1260. Pretty Legit Shaun. Pretty Legit.

So Kim Kardashian debuted her new line (done in collaboration with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe) for Bebe yesterday at fashion week. Although I am not a fan of Bebe’s clothes I took a gander at the line because I like the way Kim and Kourtney dress. I can’t say I am surprised that the line is mediocre at best and is typical of the Hollywood club girl attire Bebe has come known for in my mind.  Kim is wearing one of the looks above, need I say more? Also, I have never in my life seen a “designer” seated for one of their shows. But I guess since Kim in NOT a fashion designer her sitting front row is more of the norm for her, which is where she was the whole time. Why Bebe even shows at NY fashion week is what I am more interested in. Check out the line at Bebe.com.

Kid Cudi is featured in the current issue of Time Out New York as one of their “Most Stylish New Yorkers” and I completely agree. On his inspiration, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi says,
“I always took [style tips] from my older brother and sister, who wore simple, classic things. But I still layered a lot, and in high school, I was a young young’un, all Phat Farmed–out, wearing Sean John, Ecko, Rocawear and Akademiks. I felt like I needed to buy what was cool, instead of just wearing comfortable shit. Now I feel like my personality is this character, and when you watch a cartoon show, the characters aren’t changing their outfit every 15 seconds. That’s why I wear the same jeans every day.”

Calling his style “simple and classic” he is a male fashion-ista to be watched. With his skinny jeans and simplistic tee’s he stands out in an unassuming way. Lots of layering adds to his dressing dynamic and although he keeps it low key in most pieces, he does throw in a few really nice accessories to tip the scale. A+
Just one more reason to love him.

So Megan Fox is getting some flack for her recent Superbowl Commercial. Did she use a body double for the close up of her hand? gasp!
Megan is the shit, she’s hot, brunette (makes her hotter) and has rad tattoos. However, since no one is perfect, she is known for having weird thumbs. -As shown in the pic above- Now watch the commercial. Totally not her thumbs. This is completely stupid that it was on Yahoo News, and even more dumb that I am now repeating the info, but hey, this is the world we live in. Things don’t make sense, people act irrationally, bad things happen, and Megan Fox has gross thumbs. Deal with it.

Jessica Alba, I love you. I do. But you look terrible! That dress, that hair, the shoes. I am disappointed. You haven’t starred in a movie in so long. This was your comeback red carpet and you look like a wet bird. I am sad.

On the other hand, Anne Hathaway looks gorgeous! OK well, the dress is gorgeous (her hair would have looked better down) but we’ll take what we can get. Kudos Hath!

Valentines Day opens Friday.

Ok, so I was flipping through my magazine this morning when I came across and ad for a new HBO show. In  the ad’s picture was my boyfriend Kid Cudi. I was like “oh hell naw, my boo didn’t tell me he was in a new show!” But then I remembered him saying he was getting into acting and had a show coming out and here it is. “How to make it in America”- Honestly, I don’t know if its something I would have watched if Cudi wasn’t in it but come Sun February 14th when the show debuts at 10pm on HBO I will be watching it. But isn’t that Valentines day you ask? Shouldn’t I have amazing plans to be drinking champagne and eating strawberries or whatever else people in love do together? Well NO, I won’t be. I will probably be doing the champagne drinking part, but I will be doing it in bed. Watching Cudi on the tv because he is effing cooler than any guy I have ever dated anyway. Snap!
