Sometimes I really question the credibility of Heidi Klum getting to host and judge Project Runway. It’s almost as if she has no fashion sense at all. -Just another question to add to the arsenal that I will die trying to figure out.
This is her at the AFI screening of “Black Swan” last night in Hollywood, yeah that’s right, last night, not 1995 as you may have assumed thanks in part to this heinous dress.

So it’s that time of year again, time for the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
I love to sit down in front of my TV in my sweats year after year and feel bad about myself.
And each year I vow to make hay of my youth, and start walking around in bras and wings just cause I can, and should- while my body hasn’t been taken over by age and baby production, yet I never do.
So come November 30 when the show airs, you can count on the fact that I will be watching in my baggy t-shirt, hair-tied back, telling myself I only have a few good years left in me and I need to start wearing body glitter like them.
Yep, thats exactly what I will be thinking.

So I had the pleasure of sitting 4 feet away from this nonsense as it went down last night at Boudoir in West Hollywood. The event was for the launch of Doctrine Denim and all the guys (and gals) from dancing with the stars were there. See how bad ass they are throwing up the deuces. Barf.
Anyway, I love me some Situation but the amount of attention he got was unreal. You’d have thought Brad Pitt was sitting there with all the cameras in his face. I got pushed back by dudes, DUDES trying to get a closer spot near him. That’s OK though, I get it. Situation is hilarious and quite possibly one of the best characters to come from a reality show ever. But these other guys. That’s where I have a problem. They think they are soooo damn cool. Newsflash. You ain’t. Thats why I am not even mentioning your names in this post. In the words of Kelso, “BURN!”

This Fall expect to see a lot of penny loafers and moccasin inspired flats. I am particularly fond of these Elizabeth and James Mena Flats.
But at $239.00 you may want to find something a little more budget appropriate like this pair by Michael Kors which are  only $98.00. Pair them with some skinny jeans and an oversized cable knit sweater for a sophisticated cozy look or even with a flowy blouse and shorts for the boho, classy look. Loves it!

My new favorite color for Fall is OPI’s “SUZI SKIS IN THE PYRENEES”. It’s like a dark slate blue grey, so step your game up from the tired “LINCOLN PARK AFTER DARK”. Please.

So there wasn’t a whole lot of good dresses last night, actually I didn’t LOVE any. To be honest I didn’t even LOVE any of the attendees besides Cory Monteith and Tom Hanks.


I really liked Jayma Mays dress. It was understated yet sophisticated and glamorous. I also loved January Jones’ crazy blue hoop skirt ensemble even though I am sure she will make top of the worst dressed list in some eyes.
Cheryl Burkes dress was beautiful – but it was wasted on her. Sorry but its true. And Nina’s whole look was put together perfectly.

So last night was the 2010 “Breakthrough of the Year Awards” which instead seems to me like it should be called, “B- and C List Stars Get Together to Take Pictures Awards” Anyway, this little guy attended, Cody Simpson, who is apparently a teen pop star in Australia. I wish his outfit was a little more Swag-tastic as it is half Gap, half awesome. And as I am sure you know the awesome part is in his footwear. These DC’s are pretty sick and I couldn’t find them on DC’s website so they must be new. I like, I like.

Victoria “Posh” Beckham attended the birthday party for Net-A-Porter (the designer shopping website) in London last night. See how cold and uncomfortable she looks? Well, what you are looking at here is a shot in which a nearby oscillating fan sent a small burst of wind at her, and since she weighs about, oh, I’d say 80 lbs. she had to hold on to French fashion designer Roland Mouret or risk being blown out of the party!
Phew, close call, close call.

So I came across this pic of Josh Duhamel and Fergie in Milan and something other than Josh’s astounding good looks stuck out at me. What the hell is going on with his shoes??? These are so far from cool that they ran down the block, around the corner, and hopped in a cab- to successfully dodge being cool. Now his footwear is just as fugly as his wife’s face. Oh snap! Did I say that? That was mean.

The shoes are that bad. hehe.
