The Daily Faves

Have you had your Daily fix today?

So Yahoo! news is reporting that my boyfriend, actually EX boyfriend, (since he bares a striking resemblance to someone I no longer want to remember) was kicked off his flight from NYC -where he was photographed above- to Kentucky. Apparently this was over him refusing to turn his Blackberry off for takeoff??? According to the article it states

“Upon the attendant’s third request, Duhamel reportedly laughed. At that point, the still-grounded plane left the runway and headed back to the gate — further delaying the flight and reportedly angering other passengers.”

A fellow passenger was also quoted saying he was “very rude” and “taunting”. And eventually two officers later boarded and escorted him off. I find this all very hard to believe as I have met Josh a few times and he is always very polite and sweet. But there must be some validity in this as a rep for Duhamel told
TMZ he is sorry and he was just texting about the flight being delayed.
I am embarrassed for Josh right now, almost like I am embarrassed for him that he walks around married to Fergie Fugly Face.

So I came across this pic of Josh Duhamel and Fergie in Milan and something other than Josh’s astounding good looks stuck out at me. What the hell is going on with his shoes??? These are so far from cool that they ran down the block, around the corner, and hopped in a cab- to successfully dodge being cool. Now his footwear is just as fugly as his wife’s face. Oh snap! Did I say that? That was mean.

The shoes are that bad. hehe.

So, guess who I met (again) last night? Yep. The King himself. Mr. How can anyone be that hot.
Josh Duhamel.
He was drinking Miller Lights and wearing these same shoes he wore 3 days ago in Miami. He was also wearing that gosh darn wedding ring of his though, so you know, dreams don’t come completely true.

So I welcome 2010 with open arms. I am going into this year with a different mentality and I am leaving my baggage at the door. What happened in 2009 will stay there. I will learn from it but stop living in its shadows. As we enter this new decade with all the hope, anticipation, resolutions, and better outlooks, I have a bit of New Years advice for you.- Some things a person will just never know, or understand, and you need to accept that and let it go. BUT, you can, I repeat can, hold with you one. One you will die wondering, cringe questioning, and look yourself in the mirror and say “really?” and that question my friend for me is still, Why the hell is Josh with Fergie?!?

Oprah (and some Rabbi) Lists Best Places To Meet A Good Man

Picture of Josh purely for inspiration :)

(strangely enough the smokey patio of a bar isn’t on here! Whaaaaat? I for one am shocked.)

1. Churches, synagogues or mosques: “There will you find men with a spiritual disposition,” Rabbi Shmuley says.

2. Bookstores: Here, you’ll find men who are intelligent, he says.

3. Charity events: Volunteer to work with charitable organizations and attend charity events to find men with heart, Rabbi Shmuley says. “[Charity events] usually draw men with a social conscience,” he says.

4. On dates set up by friends: Your friends will most likely be discerning in who they’ll introduce you to, Rabbi Shmuley says.

5. In the military: “The military usually draws really good guys,” he says. “They’re heroes—men with a sense of mission.”

6. At work: Rabbi Shmuley says he’s not opposed to office romances. “In a serious office are usually serious, hardworking and respectful men who aren’t peering down your shirt and they aren’t getting bombed at a bar, and they’re also right there in your backyard,” he says.

7. Libraries: These are quiet, contemplative settings that often attract intellectual guys, Rabbi Shmuley says.

8. Concert halls: Find cultured men who love music at these venues, he says.

9. Weddings: Weddings have a great romantic atmosphere, and commitment phobes usually stay away from them, Rabbi Shmuley says.

10. Lectures and debates: Such events usually attract a higher quality guy.

11. Coffeehouses and poetry recitals: Seek out the sensitive, nice guys who might frequent these places.
